I. 2D/3D Terrain Visualization
Data from GIS and image databases are ideally suited to be viewed as 3 dimensional. Visualizations may take the form of a static, although rotational, terrain model overlaid with GIS data/analysis and imagery to a more elaborated joystick flythrough of the same data. Most scientific and engineering data contains the components of a 3 dimensional coordinate system. Like the above GIS data, this data can be presented as a series of 3D visualizations.
